Voice of the Year
Voice of the Year, which marks its sixth anniversary this year, will award a prize of 1 million KRW and a plaque to respective organizations and individuals who have been working on women’s pending issues over the past year. This year, the Korea Foundation for Women (KFW) will sponsor the prize money.

Through these activities, they have raised awareness about the seriousness of gender-based sexual violence crimes.

- Politicalmamas is a civic group established on June 11, 2017, to reform Korean society’s irrationality and systematic contradictions by mothers’ political engagement. It has raised the issues regarding the corrupted private kindergartens and contributed to solving the problem.
- Youth Feminist Network “Wetee”
- The network first emerged after the Gangnam station public toilet murder case in 2016 and developed to the Youth Feminist Network “Wetee” in 2019. It actively engaged in the “School MeToo” movement, facilitated a nationwide network for young feminists, organized various rallies, and raised visibility about the Korean situation to the international community.

- The students’ network against the abolition of the Women’s Student Councils in college campuses including, Yonsei University, Sungsungeo and Yeossogong

- Rapper SLEEQ
- Pursuing the songs which kill nobody, Sleeq, as a feminist artist, makes music beyond the boundaries of woman, queer, the gender binary, and toward all the possibilities.
- Team Flame
- Team Flame is made up of university student reporters, who began investigating the digital sexual crime committed in Telegram chat rooms, so-called nth rooms and reported this case for the first time. They have been working to raise social awareness on digital sexual crimes and to strenghten solidarity with the survivors.

- Kim pleasantly and sharply conveys her daily life as a disabled woman in her 20s, theater actor and student through her Rolling GURU channel.
- Jong-rin, Branch Head of Union of Paris Baguette
- Lim went on a 53-day hunger strike due to oppression of the labor union and the issue of bakers’ right to rest, and are still fighting.
