SOHN Su-hyun, Actor
‘SIWFFstar’ is the new title for the festival ambassador who would join the SIWFF each year to promote and support the festival.
For this year’s SIWFF, actor SOHN Su-hyun joins the festival as the 10th SIWFFstar.
Actor SOHN Su-hyun has maintained a strong relationship with the SIWFF through her films Frontman (2020), (BLANK) (2021), and An Ordinary Day (2023). She will meet the audience this year with Lucky, Apartment (2024). In 2020, she received the Gender Equality Culture Award for the Emerging Female Artist of the Year. In 2022, she was appointed as a public relations committee for the Korea Foundation for Women to promote women’s rights. She also directed short films Free-lancer (2020) and How to Fix the Fan (2020). She has been active in various fields, such as writing essays on veganism, to advocate for positive change.
