SYNOPSIS

Soyoung is a single mom with a nine-year-old daughter named Bandi. She blames herself for not being able to fix Bandi¡¯s stammering and thinks one of the reasons for Bandi¡¯s passive attitude and stammering is her absent father. One day, she decides to tell Bandi about her father for the first time. However, it¡¯s not easy to explain death.

PROGRAM NOTE

The light of fireflies, pictures of childhood, past stories, time-worn apartments, backyards, and the one who left. Bandi looks at everything that has disappeared in the world. The time overlapped by the cinematic effect reveals even the traces of steps, and in that time delayed, three women glow and remember each other. Adapting one of the short stories of Unframed (2021), Moon Choi took charge of directing, writing, and acting. [A, HAEPARI]

    Choi double-majored in media and communication and English literature at Yonsei University and also began acting in a theater club at that time. Her major works include the films DONGJU; The Portrait of A Poet (2015), Anarchist from Colony (2017), Our Body (2018), and The Asian Angel (2021), and the television series Now, We Are Breaking Up (2021-2022). She is exploring what stories can be told by a female actor and filmmaker in her 30s.
