I-Teens is a competitive section screening short films directed by Korean teenage female filmmakers. This year, 33 films were submitted. A sincere and passionate gaze crosses between the works that think deeply about oneself yet do not lose interest in others and the world. It also is a characteristic of teenage female directors that they do not fear to try various forms and genres while trying to face the reality encountered by contemporary youth precisely. The five finalists demonstrate originality and high-quality. During the festival, the I-Teens jury, consisting of teenagers, will select the winners of the Grand Prize and the Excellence Prize after viewing and discussing the films together.
