SYNOPSIS

The graduation film festival is just around the corner. Nineteen-year-old Choyoung rushes into editing her film late at night, but she notices that she did not record the essential sound of waves. When she continues to edit in low spirits, she discovers an unexpected video clip.

PROGRAM NOTE

People sometimes feel lost when they start something but don¡¯t feel joy in it anymore. The Wishful Sea describes this kind of emotional progress. Its great virtue is simply visualizing a character¡¯s emotions without excessive dialogue or description. A few days before the graduation film festival, Choyoung checks old videos to find the sound of waves. She sees herself as she was, and her face was full of delight in filmmaking. This is what the director really wants to find again. [Programmer KIM Hyunmin]
