SYNOPSIS

Soguem (18), who is facing the third year of misfortune, has a secret crush on her best friend Hosu (18) who has paid encounters with a mid-aged man. After her divorce, Hosu's mom (36) relies on shamanism in fear of Hosu following her steps because she married and gave birth when she was young. Just when Sogeum gets increasingly irritated and enraged by her dad and Hosu's lover, a buyer shows interest in Sogeum's used underwear.

PROGRAM NOTE

Chuz me! is a story about two teenage girls, Sogeum and Hosu, but at the same time, it is a film about the relationships surrounding Sogeum. People around Sogeum hurt, console or fill her void, creating fractures in Sogeum¡¯s daily life. The fractures are maximized through the film¡¯s visual devices such as red lighting and green plants. It is a film about a certain time in a girl¡¯s life where she slowly grows while clashing, appealing, clinging to or loving in her loneliness and isolation. [LEE Sukgyung]
