SYNOPSIS

My father becomes the socks. When my father becomes the socks at home, I don't have to look for him all day long. But mostly, on the street, the subway, and at the park where many people come, he becomes the socks.

PROGRAM NOTE

Socks are a metaphor for a drunk father. Socks on the living room floor seem like a pathetic father cuddling up in the corner, while socks on the street remind us of a shameful father. All of this is performed by placing socks in unexpected places and designating them as human. This is the amazing point about this film. The Socks is about a father who became socks. At the same time, it is about socks becoming human. Watching the film from the latter point of view would be more interesting. [KIM Sohui]
