SYNOPSIS

Synopsis

After six months, Elaheh is finally allowed to visit her husband, who is a political prisoner. Elaheh and her little daughter Tara have one single day to prepare for this important meeting.

Program Note

After six months, a woman is finally allowed to visit her husband in prison. However, she is prohibited from seeing him due to an administrative error. The film depicts a family's long wait for reconciliation, abrupt rejection, and refusal. This film does not figure out what his allegation is or whether the allegation is true. Instead, it conveys bureaucratic indifference and injustice, which prevents visiting a family member without any political intention and context. [HWANG Miyojo]
