Synopsis
8 year-old Baheya dies through the attack on Mohammed Ali Mosque. The thing that utterly affects the life of her teacher, Mariam, who quits everything and pauses to reassess her life-path. We witness Mariam\'s external conflicts, as she persists to liberate from all kinds of restrictions, and inner conflicts as she attempts to reach a point of self-harmony.

Coptic Christian Mariam loses her 8-year-old student Baheya in a terrorist attack on Mohamed Ali Mosque. Baheya’s death utterly affects
 Mariam’s life because she sees the accident as a result of her decision to put into action her belief that Copts and Muslims could be united. She
 gives up teaching and chooses to drift away from her warm-hearted, Muslim boyfriend. In the face of immense sorrow and condemnation, the
 road to self-reconciliation and self-forgiveness is not an easy one. The audiences are invited to feel the weight of the very word ‘religion’. How
