SYNOPSIS

Synopsis

 Just like their peers, Alice, Rossella and Martina have hopes and dreams for their future. When they
 lose their salaries due to the economic crisis, they opt for the easiest and fastest way to make money.
 In other words, they become cam girls who take their clothes off in front of web cameras. Having quit
 their companies that only regard them as means to increase capital without delivering the promised
 sums, they set up their own business based on respect for women and an equal distribution of profit.

Alice, serving her internship at an ad company, ambitiously comes up with an idea about chocolate advertisement for the Valentine¡¯s
 day, but the idea is stolen by the agency. To top it off, she fails to be employed permanently and kicked out of the company. Tired
 of being a victim of this kind of situation, constantly happened to her over years, she finally decides to run her own business,
 providing a new type of internet chatting service, with ¡®cam girls¡¯ previously working for the other internet chatting services.

 Basically, there is no difference in her video chatting business which exchanges something sexual and money with mostly male
 customers. But the innovative thing of these women¡¯s establishment exists in distribution of profits between employer and
 workers. They guarantee to give more profits to sex workers who have suffered from duplicate exploitation committed by moneypleasure
 exchanges mostly between male customers and male employers, in order to reduce the degree of exploitation.

 Cam Girl is provocatively, but not in a serious way, questions about young women¡¯s lives in the current employment situation and
 their no-exit desire resulted from ¡®1 vs 99 society¡¯ of global neo-liberalism economic system and internet-based informatization.
 The capital is still cold to them. And their smart plan, separating work from emotion or from dream, never neatly works out as they

    Born in 1968, Italy. Mirca Viola is an actress. She worked as assistant director for several films including Banditi(1995), Figurine(1997). In 2011 she made her debut as a director for his first feature Love Hurts, Cam Girl followed in 2012 as the second feature.
