Synopsis
Whenever I walk down the road I see a shop or two taking a day off, but my mother never takes a holiday and continues working all throughout the year. Although she struggles to make ends meet on a shrinking income, she gives discounts for her regular customers and never refuses to give them credit. I can’t understand her.

Program Note
A daughter, who is a high school girl, is recording her mother running a small hair shop with a camera. The distance between the camera and the
 mother is fixed. This film doesn’t care about the restriction of the angle or the simplicity of the composition derived from it. The interesting point
 of this film is the attitude of the mother and daughter who is both the director and narrator of the subtitle. The daughter who has complaints
 about her mom’s attitude to life keeps questioning insistently during the filming process, but her mother has a lukewarm reaction and preaches
 the importance of negotiation and flexibility in dealing with life problems. [HWANG Miyojo]
