Synopsis
Based on the hypothesis that the act of ‘consoling oneself’ committed by boys full of testosterone is the process of reaching a paradise, this film compares their journey towards a paradise with a math formula. Special symbolic props add the film’s humor. Using fast-paced editing and various montage techniques, the film takes a unique approach to the sexual curiosity of adolescents.

The Formula of Completing Paradise is a witty and original short film, but the wittiness and originality somehow seem to come from a set of
 familiar cliches. Director’s humorous presentation of men’s masturbation and pastiche-like usage of elements of pop culture and sub-culture
 are very elegant and at the same time familiar. Also, the film’s sense of distance, which stems from the lack of identifiable characters, makes it
