SYNOPSIS
Multiple-rerun films and lay-about men are all gathered in an old theatre on the urban margins. Yim soon-rye deliberately explores women’s fantasy and reality through eyes of Jung-ja, a boxoffice girl, who is trapped in a male-dominated space and waits for a blind date. Will her expectations be fulfilled by the kind of happy ending she finds in films she loves? This remarkable short signaled the advent of new cinema in Korea.
