 The mother and daughter relationship is a complicated one that is difficult to understand. What is a mother to a daughter? Could a daughter possibly forsake the mother whom she promised herself she would never resemble and become the exact replica of her father? Looked down upon by society as just another old woman, the mother, at the same time is deified in the name of country and nature. Could a mother who is also a companion of patriarchy be reconciled with her daughter?
