A story of a whale and a dog figure that misses its home. Two motifs contributing to the film’s psychological conflict are ‘decalcomania’ and an ‘awkward singing of a dog missing the sea’. The strange symbolic rituals in Rosa’s space wash away the signs of a cracked ego stained in I-Ju’s daily life. We can see Rosa’s probable escape from the burden of life when the separated pictures become on, and shadow moves in the same dance with its reality.
