SYNOPSIS
Sorim finds her home empty all of a sudden. She recalls the sound her family used to make and tries to fill the void.
PROGRAM NOTE
A quiet house without a family. Sorim starts to inhabit the silence, but it is too much to bear. She tries to recreate the sounds of living and feel like she is with her family and not alone. But her neighbor doesn’t seem to care. Sorim tries to live in the sounds of her family, but at last she must accept the silence...

LEE GaeunLEE Gaeun
Lee was born in Seoul in 1995. She studied advertising at Dongguk University and has been studying film at Sejong University since 2017. Her 2020 short film Stair was invited to short film festivals in the United States, Japan, Austria, India, and Germany. Since then, she has been focusing on replacing feelings with senses in filmmaking. In (BLANK), the audience can see her attempt to combine the feeling of longing with "sound."
