SYNOPSIS

Synopsis

Hyejin attends a girls' middle school, and joins an LGBTQ culture festival with her date Jieun. At a convenience store, she encounters her homeroom teacher Minjeong, who carries a homophobic placard. The two meet again at school the next day. While an open class is days away, the teacher continually pressures her. On the day of open class, Hyejin finally explodes.

Program Note

We all have our own morality. It's up to the individual to judge according to their convictions. The problem happens when we judge others based on our own perceptions, and when the majority imposes what they think is right onto the minority, it can become nasty. Yet depending on the time and space, we never know when, where, or how the majority will become the minority, and vice versa. We are all human. Everyone is the same and deserves to be given respect - it's appropriate, and fair. The expressions of all the characters, including that of the protagonist and teacher, are vivid. Suddenly, I realized I was making the same expression as them. [CHA Jeonga]
