SYNOPSIS

Synopsis

Jiwon lives with her game addict mother. Her neighbor lives with her autistic daughter, who's addicted to her smartphone. Jiwon often visits her neighbor, and sympathizes with her situation. She realizes that her mother is similar to the neighbor's daughter. In the end, she thinks that she is the neighbor's real daughter and wants to live with her.

Program Note

Move is surprising in how it contains all the stories it wants to tell in such a simple structure. It's also surprising how well Jiwon, the protagonist, and other actors perform. Although it was made last year, this is a story that various family members can sympathize with on different levels due to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Microwaved rice and food; doors that open and close; when following the steps and emotions of the characters, the film feels really short. I wonder what a real family is. [CHA Jeonga]
