SYNOPSIS

On paper, Hyunju does not exist and holds no nationality. She wants to go to school like other teens and go to fan meetings for her favorite singer, but these are only dreams since she can¡¯t prove her own existence. This film finds a good balance between examining social problems related to North Korean defectors, and the anxieties and feelings of teenage girls, with images that linger in the mind. Those who feel like they don't have a place to call their own will identify deeply with Hyunju¡¯s situation. [CHA Sungduk]
