SYNOPSIS

Synopsis
There is an underground world, different from the world that ordinary people live in. Things that have been forgotten fleet and float down to this world, where a child monk and two rabbits live. They are the first and the last beings to listen to the stories told by the forgotten items. One day, a strange glass bottle floats down to this world. There is a letter in the bottle, and the child monk decides to return it to the owner.

Program Note
You Were So Precious received the Kokdu Cultural Award, the best project award in the IWFFIS Short Animation Pitch & Catch program. Examining the themes of the death of objects and the afterlife, the film illustrates the oblivion, memory, and remembrance embedded in abandoned objects, with an analog sentimentality. The film takes a look at the world from objects\' perspectives, and standing out in the film is the delicate sensitivity particular to a woman director who embraces death as a problem of life. [HONG So-in]
