SYNOPSIS


 Synopsis
 There were times, when ¡°bitch¡± had negative connotation. But today it has become a real brand. ¡°Bitch¡± has become an example to follow for modern woman, an ideal image of our days. Vixen is not a hysterical woman or capricious fool or envious snake. Vixen is a Woman that follows her own desires but not someone¡¯s advises, she is independent and relies on herself only, she knows what she wants from life and men.
 
 Program Note
 In a building in Moscow, young and beautiful women fashion their verbal and body languages after the directions of a strict and confident man. This is a private school that teaches ¡°how to seduce men.¡± Bitch Academy is a documentary that observes an aspect of the confusion-fallen Russian society after the fall of Socialism. In a society where everything have just begun to be measured according to their capitalist value, many women put themselves in the marriage market as products of seduction. The camera captures, persistently yet without any intervention, the nervous faces of the Moscow women stuck in between the traps of deep-rooted patriarchy and newly-given capitalist value; the stiff tension that lingers in the too-soft gestures and voices of seduction; and the unfamiliar glances of identification as the women look at each other.
