SYNOPSIS

In the darkness, a woman standing alone encounters another woman and falls in love. This film has been invited to numerous gay & lesbian film festivals, but it is rather ambiguous as to whether the emotions that run through the film are totally homosexual. It¡¯s because the silhouette of Narcissus is roaming around the pond without meeting the world. However, the world that is hidden under darkness and away from the world will attempt to invade her pond or maybe the animated film she finally managed to discover. Will she be able to keep her pond?     Born in Taiwan, Lee Pei-ying studied at Tamkang University and Tainan National University of Arts. Her first short Jolie ou pas (2002) was screened at Taiwan Women Makes Waves Film Festival. Dream is for Moonrise was screened at numerous film festivals locally and internationally, including Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, Vancouver Queer Film and Video Festival and San Francisco Int¡¯l LGBT Film Festival.
