Ieum is a high school student and carries powerful electricity in her body. She dreams of a love like the one in a melodrama. However, with the risk of electrocution, her dream of being in love seems impossible. One day, an exceptional student named Yeon appears. Yeon plays the electric guitar without connecting it to a speaker.
Ieum cannot touch others because her body carries electricity, but she deeply desires to be connected with others and experience love. One day, she finds Yeon, who faces death and chooses to live a life shielded from the outside world. The two decide to be on stage at the upcoming school festival. The film Electric Girl presents a unique concept and delicately captures the girls¡¯ awkward journey of gradually connecting, filled with lively energy and charming scenes. [LEE Suyoung, Cinefemme]
