SYNOPSIS

On a rainy day in spring, a woman of almost 40 years, Mary-Jane is ready to fall in love or rather to slip in love with an almost 15 year old boy among her daughter's classmates.

PROGRAM NOTE

The film starts with a young boy in a white training uniform walking down the street, looking like a character from a game. Each time he takes a step or throws a punch, a game sound effect comes out. He kills enemies that appear in front of him. Boing boing. It's one of the most disparate scenes in Kung-Fu Master! This film tells the love between 15-year-old boy Julien and Mary-Jane, a divorcee raising two daughters. Julien looks even smaller and younger than his age. They fall in love, act on their love, and soon they meet an end. One of the many good things about this film is that it doesn't try too hard to persuade and draw empathy when they whisper their love. It just shows them. On the contrary, the end of their love is not seen but is told in a very short moment, like a rumor. "Not a one to sleep with." Whether the 15-year-old boy's bluffing in front of his friends is sincere or not, we can see the sadness on his face. There is also sadness in Mary-Jane's front yard, where she sits and waits for someone on a small step in front of her house. However, reality is not like a game; no one can rescue their loved ones.
