KWON Minryeong
World Premiere
Suyeon comes back to her hometown to find the sound that disappeared. She meets Kyungmin, whom she has not seen in a long time, and they realize that their memories are different when they share their stories.
The high-rise apartment buildings keep rising beyond the gently flowing river and green landscape. As if it was a scene from a sad dream drifting through a ghost town, a part of my heart feels broken. Suyeon, who collects disappearing sounds, returns to her hometown after a long absence and stumbles on an old friend. Suyeon, who wants to make a movie, feels strangely out of place from this random meet-up with her old friend, who is a welder in Geoje. Now, it's time to part with misunderstandings and guilt. Labor, redevelopment, and the value of friendship are gently summoned in Suyeon's restrained sadness, wandering in Limbo, the border between life and death, for mourning. [SONG Hyojoung]
