The film starts in a small northern Norway town surrounded by forests and lakes. Vera often leaves her family with an unreadable facial expression, and her younger sister Eira just guesses that something is going on in Vera's mind. Eira begins to read Vera's diary to understand her secretly. The unclear text and images of the taboo-breaking cut-and-paste collages gradually open up another world in front of Eira's eyes. The film creates a poetic resonance by intercutting the narration of the diary readings with the sisters' everyday conversations while presenting Vera's pain and change in fantastic images. Eira experiences a bond with Vera like never before, while Eira hesitates about Vera's darkness, fear, instability, and anger in her diary. The film takes the form of a psychological road movie. Distancing herself from treating her sister like she is crazy, Eira joins Vera's mystical journey. Vera shudders at what can only be described as a catastrophic climate crisis and the arrogance of humans who have lost their animalistic nature.
