During summer vacation, Okju, her little brother Dongju, and their father have to stay at their grandpa¡¯s house. Soon their aunt moves in as well, and memorable stories of the whole family unfold from there.
* Directed by YUN Danbi, narrated by PARK Jeongmin, and supported by Hyosung Corporation for barrier free
One summer, a story of a family living together in a house for one reason or another. Of course, the reason is that only adults matter. The father is exhausted from working, while the aunt¡¯s marriage is not stable. Recently, time saps Grandpa¡¯s strength. Teenager Okju and her little brother Dongju suddenly stay at their Grandpa¡¯s house. Moving On evokes memories of childhood – moments of ordinary days that we didn¡¯t know back then but are wistful about now that we think about them. Yoon Danbi directed herself this barrier-free version. Thanks to that, this work is able to include delicate sentiments of the general screening version. As the director desires that the ¡°barrier-free version itself has to have its own charm,¡± this version will be a cinematic experience to understand characters¡¯ inner emotions more than simple explanations of the screen. This is largely credited to actor Park Jeongmin, who is the narrator of the movie. His soft voice fills gaps between lines. Especially, the description of spaces is outstanding. When listening to his narration like a piece of prose poem, elaborate description brings the vivid image of a sweet two-story house to our mind. As this barrier-free version is made considerably like this, it is good to enjoy together with men and women, young and old, and disabled and non-disabled. [LEE Youngju]
