The Talent Show is about women who unexpectedly start acting during their coffee class. From the outside, they seem to have a clear purpose. However, is this all? Acting means ¡°I¡± become ¡°another person,¡± but it cannot be done by removing oneself; it must embrace ¡°other people,¡± so I perform by extending myself. At this point, I have to go back to my roots and look into my emotions to meet ¡°other people¡± properly. I have to find the contact point with ¡°other people¡± and me. It¡¯s not easy because when I act, I have to look at experiences that I want to hide, disregarding emotions and even pain. I sometimes have to show emotions found at the contact point from the bottom of my heart. But at the same time, acting cures me. One actor says acting purifies. The Talent Show portrays what this acting group goes through as they stage a play. In addition, it focuses more on individuals who go one step closer to acting and are fascinated by theatrical plays. It makes individuals living characters with their time, breath, and emotions. It also tries to make their surroundings living things. [YU Eunjeong]
