What adventure will unfold if two adolescent girls living in totally different worlds get to know each other? This film is about two girls who get to understand each other and fall in love. In the United States in the middle of the 1990s, an openly lesbian tomboy, Randy, lives with her aunt Rebecca and her girlfriend Vicky. Randy sometimes has a casual date with a married woman, Wendy. One day, she falls for Evie who goes to the same school and stops at the repair shop where Randy works. Evie feels affectionate toward Randy. Although the two live in totally different worlds, they try to get to know each other – sharing music that they listen to alone, sharing their favorite books of poetry, and passing love notes. It is a romance that both feel for the first time. However, there are plenty of inevitable obstacles. Unlike Randy, who is used to homophobic attitudes, Evie never imagines losing all of her friends due to her sexual orientation. It takes great courage to deal with many things in such an unpleasant world. However, it is meaningful because love exists during this adventure. [CHOI Yiwon]
