SYNOPSIS
It was 3:00AM, January 17, 2009. Hyeok-geun was waiting for Cha-gyeong. Now it is 3:00AM, June 17, 2009 and still he waits. Whether or not she is aware of this, Cha-gyeong says she wants to be reborn as an elephant.
PROGRAM NOTE
Han Yeri’s face makes a deep impression in this film, a face that Hyeok-geun cannot forget. Be with Me deals with the death of a lover and the “not okay” life afterward. Cha-gyeong is not in this world but stays in memory. Han Yeri delivers a great performance, standing on the line between reality and fantasy. For this, she received the Special Jury Prize for Acting at the 9th Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival. This short film was turned into a feature film Dear Dolphin in 2013. Han assumed the role of Cha-gyeong again and played a new variation of her mysterious character. [LEE Youngju]
