Brest¡¯s Elise, Saint-Étienne¡¯s Alexia, Compiègne¡¯s Cécile, and Marseille¡¯s Jill. A documentary like a journal of revolution documenting four radical feminists who rose like wildfire in France, each with their own stories. From guerrilla strikes when they paste slogans all over the neighborhood, to large-scale protests to commemorate the victims of femicide, they have no end, and posters, paste, brushes, and their comrades in solidarity are their only weapons. The short vacuum during their silent tribute, when they engrave names of femicide victims on pickets, screams to the audience even more intensely than any noise from hate groups. Sexism is everywhere – but so are they! [Kim AkA, Cinefemme]
