A 14-year-old granddaughter follows a day in the life of her 70-year-old granny. She watches as her grandmother cooks beef soup and fries anchovies, heads out to take care of her granddaughter, and crouches while gardening. Granny says she feel fulfilled by caring for others, but her granddaughter isn¡¯t convinced. The young woman wants to ask, ¡°What would you do if you were my age again?¡± Although My Granny has a simple structure, what makes it interesting is the director¡¯s faithful trace and desire to know the subject as more than just something on the other side of the camera.
