The three sisters, born in the upper-middle class of McDonagh, made films in Sydney, Australia in the 1920s and 30s. The eldest Isabel was an actress, the second Phyllis was the art director, and the third Paulette took care of the screenplays and direction. They produced melodramas such as Those Who Love (1926), The Far Paradise (1928), The Cheaters (1930) and Two Minutes Silence (1933). [HWANG Miyojo]
