SYNOPSIS

During the Cold War, three Korean women left for the United States to succeed as a pop group. They show off their capabilities by absorbing all the images of Asia. The director connects the story of the Kimsisters and the director herself who is studying abroad, and reveals the voices of Asian women that were ignored by men and Western centered power.

PROGRAM NOTE

This documentary shows various materials in a form of collages. It also captures racial discrimination by associating the director¡¯s situation studying abroad and the history of the Kimsisters, as well as virus and the movement of migrants. Although images, editing, and the music of the Kimsisters make the film seem shorter, collages reflect the fragmented and edited lives of Asian women. The film contains good questions about dancing, singing, and what Asian women are. [Joonoo ¡°Bluc¡± PARK]
