SYNOPSIS

Synopsis

How to overcome the locked-in syndrome of the computer screen? A meditative reflection on the urban jungle with the color blue as the main protagonist. Blue is a part of Ann OREN's video journals, a short video series responding to media culture and Instagram specifically with the square format, often starring animals.

Program Note

The color 'blue,' such as blue light, blue sound, and blue emotions, is metabolized into a sensuous image through audio-visual, and changes in various ways to complete a poetic rhythm. This 'blue' image that permeates everyday life is further layered through the blue screen installed outside the window. The blue that redefines space and evokes meaning keeps spreading. A simple and powerful essay film. [LIM Ohjeong]
