SYNOPSIS

Synopsis

One morning, a woman's dismembered body is discovered. Certain parts of her body, other than the lower body and left hand, are strangely absent and no evidence of intrusion is found. As the case comes to a halt, the left hand rises on five fingers and testifies. The lower body and the left hand go out in search of the missing body parts that hated each other so much that they had left.

Program Note

When we fail to make any significant impact in society, we define ourselves as useless. In a visually imaginative fashion, the film cheerfully describes the moment when we point a finger at ourselves. The protagonist's fragmented body, the hands, feet, torso, and head look the same as the definition of self without introspection. Maybe our self-definition is almost the same as cutting off our own body. [MIN Jeeyeon]
