Synopsis 

Legend has it, on the night of Chinese Valentine's Day, if one brings 1 ,000 paper stars to some ruins and burns them, the wishes written inside will come true.

Program Note

A girl lies to her childhood friend saying that if she burns a thousand paper stars on July 7th in the lunar calendar, her wishes will come true. On purpose, they promise to burn the paper stars on a day when heavy rain was forecast, but things don't go as planned. The director skillfully utilizes cinematic techniques such as shooting, lighting, and music to create a delicate flow of emotions so that the moment of discovery of sexual identity, and the possibility of heterosexual relationship, does not flow into emotions such as betrayal, condemnation, and rejection.
