SYNOPSIS
Eun-ha and Seo-woo are a lesbian couple. One day Seo-woo unexpectedly gets into an accident and falls unconscious, and Eun-ha meets with Seo-woo’s parents while taking care of Seo-woo at the hospital. The parents push Eunha away, telling her to never come back, but Eun-ha can’t help but wander in halls of the hospital. Seo-woo appears once in a while like a memory. The film centers on a couple that deals with the issue revolving around medical decision-making authority of same-sex domestic partnership. [HONG So-in]

I direct films that are mainly about ‘an individual’s right to be free from discrimination due to the things that they could not choose.’ I also take great interest in social issues such as multicultural families and children, women’s rights, LGBTQ rights, rights for the disabled, and racial discrimination. I want to comfort and console people with my stories about human rights, because I too suffered from loneliness when I was young. Personally, I believe that a film’s most important purpose should be to make everyone happy. Therefore, I want to continue making films about civil rights.
