SYNOPSIS
A married couple who have sold their newborn baby, are waiting in the hospital to receive the remaining balance of the payment. When the buyer pulls out of the deal because the baby has a respiratory defect, they have to return the deposit. Before they make an escape, the woman tries to deliver the milk for her baby for the last time and is offered an unexpected suggestion from the nurse. The film conveys the tragedy where poverty and despair overpower female maternal instincts. [HAHM Yoosun]

Azadeh MOUSSAVIAzadeh MOUSSAVI
Azadeh MOUSSAVI, born in Tehran, Iran, in 1980, studied directing at the Art University of Tehran in 2009 and started her first documentary. In the documentary From Iran, A Separation, MOUSSAVI gives a fresh narrative on Asghar FARHADI’s Oscar, Iran’s first. This documentary won many prizes and also aired on well-known T.V. channels such as Cine Plus and Channel 4. Azade MOUSSAVI directed her first feature film Discharged, which deals with infant human trafficking, in 2016. Besides directing, she also wrote the screenplay for a film which looks at one of her biggest concerns, that is life of the toilers of the society.
