SYNOPSIS

SYNOPSIS

We are split lovers. We are both unanswered questions to each other. The questions spread out between us give us names. You are my name, I am your voice. Your question is my name; your question becomes my name. Many times, we find out about ourselves through the reflections of others. At the end of a relationship, what we have left and what comes back to me is a question, many questions. We are constantly throwing questions at others, never knowing if they hit their mark. What is left is the place where the questions began, myself and ourselves. What is reflected through others is nothing else but myself, my reflection. I discover myself through ¡®you¡¯ who is not ¡®me¡¯. We talk about ¡®you¡¯ and ¡®me¡¯ with the little pieces of memories we have of each other.

PROGRAM NOTE

Trust Fall is a postscript to an ended love story and an experimental film that takes a step closer to ¡®me¡¯ by recollecting questions that were unasked and unanswered by each other. The film keeps having ¡®me¡¯ and ¡®you¡¯ cross paths, and reflects on the problems that could not be resolved in an expired relationship. Just like the trust fall game, which is impossible without the faith and trust that the person will be there to catch you, the act of asking a question is also only possible if you have the faith that the person will be there to listen. The two protagonists revisit questions that were avoided as they come together to make a film. (BAE Ju-yeon)
