A day in a home maker’s life is the same as every day. She labors in love for her husband and children. But one day, everything is changed.
PROGRAM NOTE
Megan restlessly does the household chores while waiting for her husband, who frequently absent from home because of business. Her chores, depicted in fragmented images, the lyrical music, and subdued, less saturated color of the film all epitomize the loneliness of the protagonist, who is living, or more seemingly trapped, in such an enormous apartment. However, this labor that is dedicated for the good of the family comes to an end, and at that moment, Megan looks straight into the camera and experiences a moment of an awakening of some kind. This film, which has been produced singlehandedly by the director, with the exception of the music, is the foretelling of the rise of a new moving image artist. (BAE Ju-yeon)
