SYNOPSIS
Yeon-joo lives with her grandmother after her parents got divorced. ¡°Taking Vacation Photos with Parents¡± is her assignment for fall vacation. She does not want to let anyone know about her parents¡¯ divorce.
PROGRAM NOTE
Ever since her parents¡¯ divorce, 11-year-old Yeon-joo has been living with her grandmother. For fall vacation, she is assigned homework called ¡°Taking Vacation Photos with your Parents.¡± This film is told completely from a child¡¯s point of view, calling back to when stickers, slap-match picture cards, and vacation homework are more important than anything else in the world. Actress CHOI Soo-in, who surprised everyone from her performance in The World of Us, once again wonderfully portrays a girl with a complicated psychology. The pastel colors of the film depict the bright and warm world of an child, but the open ending of the film leaves the audience with a peculiar feeling and a lingering sense of melancholy.
