SYNOPSIS

SYNOPSIS
The beloved sibling, who was only going on a school excursion, was lost forever, and only the label of ¡°bereaved family¡± returned. Even before being able to be fully aware of the fact that a sibling was lost by the Sewol Ferry Tragedy, even more aggression inundates and overwhelms. The days where even breathing required courage, and the simple act of crying wasn¡¯t allowed, suppressed by people saying, ¡°You need to hang in there,¡± ¡°Your parents can only do good if you hold on.¡± Every and all the days that felt like April 16th come together, and make today still April 16th. Listen to this story today through the voices of Seo-hyun, Bo-na, and Yoon-a, the most active sibling participants.

PROGRAM NOTE

One of the short documentaries created by the 4. 16 Network Media Committee, For Now for Today is a documentary following the three members of Sewol Ferry victims¡¯ families. The Sewol Ferry sank on April 16, 2014, and Bo-na, Seo-hyun, and Yoon-a tragically lost their beloved siblings. These three have spent last three years asking the government to salvage the sunken ferry anytime soon and begin a thorough investigation into this worst-ever maritime accident. They have been deeply devastated and humiliated by the groundless rumor that they seek more compensation, drowning in withering indifference to their efforts to pass the Special Sewol Bill for further investigation. After all they have been through, it is just so strange for these three women to see people suddenly showing sympathy for the victims and their families in the Candlelight Revolution. (Sunah KIM)
