Growth/Independence Friendship Migration/Residence
SYNOPSIS
A person who has always been quietly walking my
own way, \'I\' suddenly find myself at a crossroads and
have to make a decision. The family that pressures
\'me\', the precious relationships that are falling apart,
and a gloomy future that leaves me at a loss. \'I\' face a
dilemma, wondering if I should choose the easy and
convenient way that everyone travels by, or carve out
my own way even if it proves to be more arduous.
PROGRAM NOTE
People who have walked down the same road with me
have gone on their own separate ways, while I remain
standing in the middle of the road. My best friend
and roommate, another person whom I was walking
with toward our dreams, is already a skilled member
of society who has established herself in her job and
is making plans to live with her partner without my
knowing. We often forget the fact every one of these
individuals is living their lives fiercely. This is a film that
lets the audience realize that all of us go to work every
day, wherever that may be and regardless of whether
we get paid, and also that we are all walking our very
own path. [KANG Ba-da]
