Family Documentary
Born into a Christian family, I begin to question the
status of women in Christianity and the hypocrisy of
the religion. After judging that I can no longer believe
in this religion, I confess this to my mother.
A person who was born into a Christian family, the
director of EVE begins to question the hypocrisy of
Christianity and women's status and their roles within
the religion. Deciding that she can no longer have
faith in this religion, the director confesses this to
her devout Christian mother. Hoping to hear some
answers to her questions, the director visits a pastor.
This conversation scene with the male pastor reveals
a cross section of the current state of Christianity in
Korea. This documentary makes the audience wonder
the next stories of the director after she leaves the
church. [KANG Ba-da]
