Family Migration/Residence Growth/Independence Documentary

SYNOPSIS

SYNOPSIS

I changed the light bulbs in my house to calm my
worries. But there is one nail that is stuck and cannot
be removed, so the old light bulb remains hanging
next to the new one. In our family group chat, we also
have a nail that cannot be pulled out. It is the person
we cannot invite to join the group chat, Ms. Kyung-hee,
also known as our \'mom\'. Amidst all this, we are about
to have a new family member.

PROGRAM NOTE

Most things in our life are too complicated and
difficult to handle just half-heartedly or cursorily.
The director\'s family lives scattered all over due to
 the parents\' divorce, but instead \"live together\" in a
group chat on their smart phones. This is a personal
documentary that really captures this epitome of this
distance and gap between the family, as well as the
delicate changes in both the dynamics and emotional
relationships shared amongst the family members,
which really appeals the deepest empathy from the
audience and is made possible by great filmmaking
and editing skills of the director. [KANG Ba-da]
