SYNOPSIS

YERUSALEM (30) is a beautiful Eritrean woman who was the wife of the Eritrean ambassador in Paris. After his assassination by radical nationalists, she is forced to flee and finds herself an illegal refugee in a decrepit area in southern Tel Aviv, Israel.
 

Program Note

Yerusalem, a wife of Eritrean ambassador to
 France, enjoys her life to the full in high society. After her husband, who
 supports a revolution, is assassinated by his political opponent, she smuggles
 herself into Israel and waits for a couple acquainted with, but staying without
 a visa, any assets and people she knows, she can’t avoid the harsh reality. The
 story follows a structure of Bildungsroman - like ‘a princess escapes from a
 castle and face the real world’. This film describes striking and radical
