Synopsis
I, the director of this movie, accidentally met a girl who said she wants to tell her story to others, at a film festival. I was surprised, shocked by her story. She was sexually harassed by her real father. However, her family and relatives didn\'t believe her, so she has to escape from her house right away. And she sued her father for the sake of her sisters. Her family and relatives turned their back to her, took a lawyer on to expose her problems. Would she be able to cope with that well?

Program Note
This film begins with the view of a woman walking across a white, snow-covered field, and the sound of her heavy breathing. From the back, she seems to be rather out of breath, yet full of energy. In fact, this is what life has been like for the past few years, ever since the protagonist left home. Each time she finds herself in a crisis, she feels distressed and exhausted. Yet, she has no intension of returning home, and just gets on with life with great independence. Although it is entirely possible to approach issues such as rape by intra-family sexual abuse running away from home, filing a lawsuit, and secondary family violence from social or scholarly perspectives, the director tenaciously focuses solely on tracking the trial. It is evident that the director is resolved to tell a story that is valuable and significant, yet not so obvious. [HWANG Miyojo]
