Grace came to Israel from the Philippines 20 years ago in search of work. Here she met and married an Israeli, and had three sons. After her divorce, she began to rediscover her sexuality and opened a beauty salon in Tel Aviv. Grace finds herself torn between her love for a woman who returned to the Philippines, and her children¡¯s desire to be Israeli and serve in the IDF.
Grace, a Filipino woman, immigrates to Israel. She raises the three babies she had with her Israeli ex-husband and has a relationship with a lesbian lover. Surrounding Grace¡¯s story in the film are issues involving the immigrant community in Israel, queerness, the independence of women, and the residence policy towards foreigners. [HWANG Miyojo]

Michal ARONZONMichal ARONZON
Born in 1982, Jerusalem. She resided in Oslo, Norway, for two years where she studied Norwegian and worked as a gardener. Later on she studied Philosophy and Jewish studies in the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Grace is her graduation film, and was selected to be broadcasted in [Yes Docu] – A local TV Channel.
