Synopsis
Reminiscence of Ether revolves around Ruksar Khan. Ruksar −a successful investment banker living in London with roots in India – is in the middle if a life changing decision. Ruksar is being pulled back into her past – a past of poems, paints, promises and a magical sculptor - to carve a path into the future with someone more important, more valuable than anything in her life, someone love and light herself.

Program Note
In London, two women meet and fall in love with each other at a social gathering for elite women with Indian backgrounds. The couple’s happiness is shattered when one of them wants to adopt a child, which eventually leads to their breakup. Reminiscence of Ether is a dramatic film with a frame structure directed in an ordinary style, but nonetheless it wonderfully captures the moment the lesbian couple falls for each other and the arguments that spring up due to their differing perspectives on life.
